About Us

Transforming our family farm into a vineyard was a life-changing event for us in 1989. Our aim was to create wines that reflected the landscape and culture of Cornwall – inviting, bright, versatile and refreshing. With wide, sunny south-facing slopes, a mild climate that allows full yet slow ripening of the grapes and fresh, pure Cornish air, our existing land naturally suited the cultivation of vines. The way in which we work has been developed specifically to retain the delicate flavours of the fruit and it is this which makes Camel Valley wines so crisp and accessible.
